No. At Betano, it is mandatory that all payment methods you use are registered exclusively in your name.
Below we explain the details of this policy:
Permitted payment methods
You may use any of the following methods, provided that you are the account holder and the details match those of your Betano account:
- Personal bank accounts.
- Credit or debit cards in your name.
- Personal digital wallets.
What is not allowed?
- Using cards or bank accounts belonging to family members, friends, partners, or acquaintances.
- Making deposits or withdrawals from corporate accounts (unless they are in your personal name).
What happens if I use someone else’s account?
If the system detects that the payment method is not in your name, the following will occur:
- Your transaction will be automatically rejected.
- Your funds may be temporarily held.
- Your account will require an additional verification process, which will take more time.
Why does this rule exist?
This policy (based on clauses 3.2 and 4.5 of our Terms and Conditions) is not intended to make your process more complicated, but to protect you. It helps us:
- Protect your money so that no one else can withdraw it.
- Comply with local anti-fraud laws.
- Ensure fast transactions by avoiding banking blocks.
