The process for deleting your account depends on its current status.
Choose the option that applies to your case:
My account is active and verified
If you have normal access to the platform, you can manage the deletion yourself. It is a quick and simple process:
- Go to the Betano website.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Privacy Notice link (located in the bottom-left corner).
- Look for section 7.2.
- Follow the path shown there: Right to erasure → Account → Privacy settings → Account deletion.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
My account is blocked or not verified
In this case, you must request deletion under Data Protection Law. To do so correctly, contact our team:
- Open the email address you used to register with Betano (you must send the request from this same email).
- Write a message requesting the deletion of your account.
- Make sure to include your username in the message.
- Send the email to our Data Protection Officers at: dpo-office-ec@betano.com
Important conditions regarding the account deletion
Before requesting the deletion of your account, please note the following:
- Response time: the team will process your request and reply within a maximum of 30 days.
- Irreversible action: once your data has been deleted, the account cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
- New registration restriction: for security policies, you will not be able to create a new account with the same details for the next five years.
