What is two-step authentication?
Two-step authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure designed to protect your Betano account and ensure that only you can access it.
When you log in to your account:
- You enter your username and password.
- You will receive a verification code via SMS to the phone number registered on your account.
- You must enter that code to complete the login process.
Didn’t receive the verification code?
If you are trying to log into your account and it asks for a 4-digit code for two-step authentication, but you do not receive it, you can try the following:
1. Request a new code
From the authentication screen, click “Resend SMS”. You will receive a new code instantly.
2. Choose another method to receive the code
If you do not receive the SMS, you can click “Choose another method” and select one of the following options:
Email: you will receive the code in your email.
Voice call: you will receive an automated call with the verification code.
You can also try the following steps:
- Check that the phone number registered on your account is correct.
- Check your device signal and your messages inbox.
- Try again after a few minutes.
- If the issue persists, contact the Betano support team for assistance.
How to disable two-factor authentication
You can disable two-factor authentication (2FA) at any time via My Account > Profile > Login & Security > Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
